Visiting Hokkaido, Japan, for the first time felt like stepping into another world. As a Finnish person used to cold winters and snowy landscapes, I thought I knew what to expect. But Hokkaido still surprised me.
If you love nature, mountains, and winter adventures, Hokkaido should be on your list. For me, it was the perfect blend of the familiar and the unfamiliar.
